If you heard of F1 Academy and you're wondering what it is, keep reading this article. I'll try to explain it in the most detailed way possible, and I'll make it understandable. But most of all I'll make sure you guys have fun while reading it! So, what's F1 Academy and why are girls racing in the motorsport world?

F1 Academy is an all-female racing championship, founded by Formula one in 2023, with the aim of integrating young girls into the motorsport world. F1 academy is the second exclusive championship for women after the W Series. The series follows FIA F4 regulations. Susie Stoddart Wolff (Toto Wolff's wife and ex british driver) is the series' managing director. Last year's constructor championship (2023) was won by Prema Racing. But let's go into detail: who are the 2024 drivers? How many teams and drivers are there? What do we know about them?

There are 15 drivers on the grid currently, and a supporting scuderia for each one of them. I'll leave a table below with all of the data and a picture of every driver!

In reality, the teams are five. The ones I wrote in the table are only the supporting brands or scuderie. Because this season, in 2024, every F1 team had to nominate one of their drivers to race for the championship. So, talking about the teams, we have: Prema racing; with Tina Hausmann, Doriane Pin and Maya Weug. MP Motorsport; with Emely De Heus, Hamda Al Qubaisi and Amna Al Qubaisi. Rodin Motorsport; with Lola Lovinfosse, Abbi Pulling and Jessica Edgar. ART Grand Prix; with Bianca Bustamante, Aurelia Nobels and Lia Block. Finally, Campos Racing; with Chloe Chambers, Carrie Schreiner and Nerea Martì.
